How It Works
BaseConf offers two tools that work together. The free web app at baseconf.com lets anyone configure Windows Update, power, privacy, debloat, and visual settings through a visual interface — and instantly generates transparent PowerShell scripts with matching undo scripts. No account required, no data collected, everything runs in your browser.
The desktop application goes further. The licensed Builder lets techs create reusable .baseconf profiles via a full GUI, snapshot live machines, export scripts for RMM tools, and compare configs. The free Runner deploys those profiles to target machines with automatic backup and one-click rollback — portable, zero install footprint, unlimited target machines.
